Lighthouse Quilts
We continue to collect quilt tops, 60″-70″ wide by 70″-80″ long in gender neutral or bright colors for the Annapolis Lighthouse. Our goal is to be able to provide a quilt for every resident for them to take when they move to permanent housing.
Other Items
We are collection mastectomy pillows, infusion quilts, childrens’ quilts, baby quilts and hats year round. Please see the current newsletter for information on how to donate your items.
Heart Blocks
Sending a pieced or appliqued heart on a 6 1/2 inch unfinished muslin background to a sick or heartbroken quilting friend has been a tradition among our members. You may sign and date your block. Receiving heart squares in the mail has helped to uplift spirits of many of our guild members. If you know someone in need of cheer, contact our “Sunshine Lady” (the name of current person is listed on the About page).
